MBA Scholarship fund for Indigenous Amazonian Leaders, Patrcio and Ernesto

We have partnered with ACDI/VOCA and USAID through their PRODEL program to provide scholarships for indigenous students from Napo to receive an MBA degree from the Escuela Politécnica del Ejercito (ESPE).  The objective of this initiative is to develop the professional skills in business and marketing that can be applied in all levels of business. This management-focused curriculum serves as the focal point of PRODEL's strategic plan, by exposing students to the newest information and technology systems. Participants will also work directly with businesses though an internship program. The students will work to successfully commercialize new products and services, and consequently, to generate a larger demand for quality primary material from the producers with whom they work.

Candidates are required to have completed a bachelors degree and have strong promise in the field of development and marketing. We are looking preferably for candidates from Napo who are interested in working with Fundación Runa, and who could become future leaders of the Napo Runa Artisan Association of guayusa producers.
